From the local quarries to the changing structure of the house, garden and surrounding parkland over the centuries, this new short course will leave no stone unturned. Learn how local people helped shape the estate as we experience it today. The afternoon is free for you to explore the house and garden at your leisure.

- 22 September: Stones of Chatsworth From local quarries to a family fascination with mineralogy
- 29 September: Going underground Archaeology at Chatsworth
- 6 October: Art and culture of Chatsworth Exploring the Devonshire Collections displayed in the house
- 13 October: The people of Chatsworth Discovering the people who have shaped the house and grounds
This course also includes refreshments plus entry to the house and garden on the day.
This course takes place in The Old Potting Shed, which is accessible from the garden.
