If you are attending yoga in the garden (Friday 11 July or Thursday 4 September), please meet at the top garden gate. As you look up the hill to the stables, these gates can be found to the right of the entrance to the stables.
If you are attending riverside yoga (Thursday 8 May or Sunday 29 June) your meeting point is Queen Mary's Bower. This is the stone building that can be seen on the left as you drive over the bridge into Chatsworth.
About the instructor
Rebecca Lee Close is Canadian born, living in Sheffield with her kids, dog, and husband. She has been teaching yoga for 7 years now and practising for 20.
As a former ship's captain, Rebecca found yoga as a way to practice self-care mentally and physically while away at sea. Rebecca's training is originally in Anusara based yoga which focuses on alignment principles. She has gone on to develop her teaching to include restorative, yin, pain-care, postnatal, mobility, and move-with-love practices.
Her classes are varied energy wise depending on who’s in attendance and what the overall focus is. They are always light-hearted, detail-oriented, and full of options to suit nearly all bodies
A Celebrating the Cascade event
Our new Celebrating the Cascade wellness sessions have been designed to delight and inspire you. We invite you to enjoy the calm and beauty of nature in the garden and wider landscape. Find balance as you step away from daily routines and pause with us by still and flowing waters. We invite you to open your heart and mind to the environment and connect with our wonderful surroundings.
The Celebrating the Cascade project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery Players, the project is working to restore the Cascade, safeguarding it for the enjoyment of future generations and enabling more people to get involved with Chatsworth.
