About the session
Have you ever fancied having a go at Tai Chi? Why not try our riverside session where you can learn more about the practice and experience something new.
Tai Chi movement can help train your mind and body and improve your health, fitness, motivation and concentration. It can be fun too! Be inspired by the water and join us by the River Derwent to add some gentle flowing movements to the start your day.
Your tutor will introduce the key themes of Tai Chi and then guide you through simple movements to build your confidence.

A Celebrating the Cascade event
Our Celebrating the Cascade wellness sessions have been designed to delight and inspire you. We invite you to enjoy the calm and beauty of nature in the garden and wider landscape. Find balance as you step away from daily routines and pause with us by still and flowing waters. We invite you to open your heart and mind to the environment and connect with our wonderful surroundings.
The Celebrating the Cascade project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery Players, the project is working to restore the Cascade, safeguarding it for the enjoyment of future generations and enabling more people to get involved with Chatsworth.
