Join us for a fun and creative wet felting workshop, perfect for beginners or experienced crafters.
You'll have the opportunity to experiment with merino wool and other special fibres to create a beautifully textured piece of art.
Choose from themes such as landscapes, florals, or seascapes. Inspirational examples will be shown on the day, but you are welcome to bring your own photographs to work from.
Course content
You will learn the process of using water and soap to bind merino wool fibres together. Your finished piece can be transformed into a wall hanging, cushion, bag, or you will be offered the option of framing your finished work, please note that there will be an additional cost for framing.
All materials are provided. No previous experience of felting is necessary.
Venue and refreshments
This workshop will take place in the Old Potting Shed art studio in the Chatsworth Garden.
Your tickets include access to the garden after the workshop, to explore at your own pace.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided throughout the session.

Please meet at the top garden gates at 9:50am for a 10am start.
About the Artist
Linzi Pattison is an artist and teacher, teaching both in schools and her own studio for over 20 years. From a young age Linzi has always had a love of art, specialising in felting, painting animals, printmaking, embroidery, stained glass and ceramics. About her own practice, Linzi says her “aim is to pass on knowledge to inspire others to enjoy being creative for personal well-being.”
