BOOK TOUR

The tour offers a comprehensive overview of Chatsworth and its history, people and preservation, from its beginnings to the present day.

Itinerary

Day one

You and your guide will explore the interiors and artwork of the Devonshire Collections. Highlights include the state apartments and the new exhibition for 2025, The Gorgeous Nothings: Flowers at Chatsworth, which features historical and contemporary works of art from the collections, and is supported by key loans and new artist commissions.

The tour continues with access to the Belvedere Tower and its exceptional views of the Chatsworth landscape.  You’ll then set off on a golf buggy tour of the 105-acre garden with your guide, who will show you the garden’s most recognisable and innovative features, and share stories about its historic development over 500 years.

To ensure the best possible experience, there is a maximum of 5 people per tour.

Some areas may not be suitable for wheelchair users, please see the accessibility section below.

Tickets to the house, garden and farmyard are included for a second day, allowing you to explore Chatsworth at your own pace, with a visit our shops, restaurants and the wider estate, including the park and Stand Wood.
