Induction Loops

Induction loops are installed at the house, garden, and farmyard entrances.

Room Guides

You can download our house room cards in advance of your visit (PDF)

Please note that the visitor route and the rooms open to visitors will change over the Christmas period (November to January).

Multi-Media Guide

A multi-media guide can be added to your order when you buy tickets online, or rented on arrival at the house. This is a tablet-style device which provides additional information on Chatsworth and items in the collection. It contains text, film and audio.

The multi-media guide volume is adjustable and each piece of content has a written transcript you can read if you prefer. The headphones loaned with the guide are designed to sit on the outside of hearing aids (no t-function setting). Find out more about the multi-media guide.

Please note that the multi-media guide is now available over the Christmas period (November to January).

Sensory Garden

The sensory garden, located near the display house, has been developed to stimulate all the senses, including touch and smell.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in the house, garden, farmyard, playground, and park. Puppies in assistance dog training are welcome in the house as long as they are house-trained.
